Mumbai: Rohit Sharma and Co once again established themselves as one of the most feared sides in the world after handing Bangladesh a convincing defeat. Before the match, there was a shadow of doubt over the Rohit Sharma-led Indian side, but all of those doubts were cast aside after the Men in Blue convincingly won the second T20I of the three-match series against Bangladesh.

This 8-wicket win over the neighbours entered India into the record books. This was India’s 41st win while chasing in T20 internationals. Before India’s win, Australia held the record with 40 victories in the shortest format of the game. Now, the Indian cricket team are the title holders of this impressive world record.

Meanwhile, Australia have successfully chased 40 times out of 69 matches. Pakistan stands third with 36 out of 67 matches.
