Mumbai: Virat Kohli was in fiery form in the third T20I against West Indies. He went on to score his 21st T20I fifty equalling the record of Rohit Sharma for most fifties in the 20-over format.

Kohli was not his usual self for the first two matches as he managed to get a decent start but could not convert them into big scores. His cautious approach ensured that India comfortably chased down the total. He was supported in this run chase by Rishabh Pant, who, himself played a fantastic innings.

The Indian skipper scored 59 runs off 45 balls. This innings consisted of six boundaries. This half-century made Virat Kohli reach 21 fifties in T20Is and put him on par with Rohit Sharma, making him only the second player to achieve this feat. Rohit Sharma had managed to achieve this feat in the second match of this series.
