Mumbai: When India were about to kick off their World Cup campaign against the Proteas, India’s Test match specialist batsman, Ajinkya Rahane showed up at the Southampton stadium to cheer for the Indian team. Along with him, India’s Master Blaster was also present at the stadium to cheer the men in blue.

Rahane, who last played his ODI match in February 2018, took time out to back the Kohli-led team. However, India’s Test vice captain is present in Southampton, which is the biggest town in Hampshire, to play county cricket for Hampshire.

However, Ajinkya rahane wasn’t the only one who was omitted from the 15-member World Cup squad.
