Mumbai: Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were left quite surprised by a 7-year-old fan, who offered to give his autograph to them instead.
The couple met the young fan in Jamaica, who offered to give his autograph. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Kohli and Anushka can be seen waiting patiently as the 7-year-old signed on a piece of paper and handed it over to the couple.
"My 7-year-old nephew, who is in Jamaica for the first test, caught @imVkohli off-guard when he went up to him and told him "would you like my autograph instead?". Stopped in his tracks and indulged him. Anushka too," the young fan's uncle posted on Twitter along with the video on his account.
As India defeated West Indies by 257 runs in the second Test of the two-match series, skipper Virat Kohli surpassed MS Dhoni to become the most successful Indian Test captain.
Kohli had 27 wins to his credit before the Jamaica Test match, but with the win, Kohli took his tally to 28 wins in the longest format of the game.
India became the first team to register a series win in the inaugural World Test Championship, paving their way up to the top of the points table.
