Girl born without hands learns to ride bike using special device

Being born without arms is bound to make life a struggle which is unimaginable for most people. But there are a few who refuse to give up and defy all odds to make sure that they live their life without being restricted due to their conditions.
A girl from Minnesota in US is showing extraordinary courage at a young age by learning how to ride a bike despite having no hands. R.E. Pranke was born with a condition called bilateral phocomelia which deprived her of arms at birth.
Although her family turned down prosthetic arms as an option, they wanted to know if R.E can ride a bike. Specialists came together to create a new device for her as the child showed she won’t let anything stop her from living a normal life.
This isn’t a first for R.E as she feeds herself, brushes her teeth, drinks and colours with her feet. The device to help her is made from PVC pipes and braces which wraps around her back and connects to the handle bars of the bicycle, helping her steer the bike with her shoulder.
R.E finds paddling the best part of riding her bicycle as she is fascinated at how fast she can make the wheels move.
