You decided that you want to become a DJ at the age of 8 and you had your first gig when you were just 13. You’re 19 today. How has the journey been

It’s great! Who knew that 16 year-olds could create the world’s biggest hits of the moment, right I think overall, the level of acceptance in the music industry is very high and I think that makes it a great scene to work in as well.

The buzz about your first solo release, Animals was insane. Did you anticipate that it would be a major hit, and how did you adjust to the sudden attention I completely didn’t expect this to become such a huge hit. I mean, we did think that it would be a pretty big track since we had full support from Spinnin’ with it, but we never thought it would be as big as it has become.

What is your message to the young aspiring DJs and musicians Never give up! Never ever let other people pull you down; there’s going to be a lot of negativity around you when you start producing and you shouldn’t let that get in your head to much. It is important to listen to feedback and to really think about that, but never let the negativity take over.

What are you looking forward to most in India Performing for all of my awesome Indian fans obviously! They’re always so supportive and they are one hundred per cent down to party and just let everything go for one evening and that’s great!
