Bollywood and television actress Deepshikha Nagpal has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Kheshav Arora, in the Bangur Nagar police station.

According to the police, Ms Nagpal mentioned in her complaint that Arora used to harass her for money and he would beat her badly over minor issues. Ms Nagpal got married to Indore-based Arora in 2012. She divorced her first husband in 2010. The Bangur Nagar police said, “Nagpal came to the station late in the night to register a complaint against her husband. She stated that he had not been living with her for the past few months. She claimed that on Wednesday he visited her and asked for money, as was his wont, which she refused. He then started beating her badly.”

Santosh Bhandare, a senior PI from Bangur Nagar police, said, “ She filed a compliant last year on the same issue, after which officials arranged for counselling for the couple. Later, they started living together again but a few months ago they had quarrels. We have registered an FIR against him for trespassing, theft and physical assault under Domestic Violence Act.”

Ms Nagpal was a Bigg Boss 8 contestant and won the ‘Best Jodi’ in season 5 of Nach Baliye in which she and Arora had taken part.
