Andheri GRP recovers bag containing Rs 1.6 lakh

The Andheri Government Railway Police (GRP) managed to trace and recover a bag containing Rs 1,69,280 that a man had forgotten in a local train in Borivali early on Sunday morning. Soon after the complainant Maruti Jorkar got down of the train he realised he had forgotten his bag containing cash on the train.

By the time he could get in he train had set in motion. He made a phone call on the railway help line- 9833312222 and a team from Andheri GRP got inside the local train and found the bag.
