Sudden demise of MP Chintaman Vanaga shocks BJP

Mr Vanaga was in Delhi to attend parliament session where he had heart attack and passed away in Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital.

Mumbai: The demise on Tuesday of its MP from Palghar, Chintaman Vanaga, in Delhi has shocked the BJP. Mr Vanaga was a veteran working in the Thane and Nasik belt’s tribal areas and had gained ground for the party from scratch. He was closely associated with RSS and particularly Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. The void due to death of Mr Vanaga will be felt for long, said state BJP leaders.

Mr Vanaga was in Delhi to attend parliament session where he had heart attack and passed away in Ram Manohar Chintaman Vanaga He was a senior leader of BJP in Thane area and was elected to the 11th and 13th Lok Sabha from same constituency. He was also member of Maharashtra assembly from 2009 to 2014.

Mr Vanaga was companion of BJP”s tall leaders like Rambhau Kapase and Ram Naik. With the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh background, Mr Vanaga was also associated with many organisations working in tribal welfare area. His sudden death has come as shock for the BJP in the area.

Raosaheb Danave said in his condolence message, “Mr Vanaga has fought for the rights of tribal. He worked hard to take BJP to the last man of Palghar, Javhar, Mokhada area.
