Thane: A 29-year-old woman, who was missing since Tuesday, has been found dead in a housing complex in Maharashtra's Thane district, the police said today. The woman's body has been found at the house of her male friend, who is also missing.

Harshada Somawanshi was into catering business. She had been missing since Tuesday and her family filed a complaint in this regard, an official at the Manpada police station in Dombivali said.

During a search, the body was found late last night at the home of Ms Somawanshi's male friend in the same complex where she lived the official said.

The woman's friend has been missing since last night and a search is on for him, he said.

No injury marks were found on the body which was sent for postmortem to a government hospital, the official said, adding that a case was registered under relevant sections.
