Mumbai: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said the Centre should take tit-for-tat action against Pakistan and said that instead of wasting time in “aimless talks”, the terror issue must be resolved “full and final”. He also said that now was the right time to attack Pakistan as the world had criticised the Pulwama terrorist attack. The whole country is behind the government, he stated.

Mr Thackeray said, “India should venture into Pakistan and launch an attack.” Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has said ‘josh’ (zeal) should now be shown and Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar should be killed in the same manner as Osama bin Laden was killed by America.

The Sena chief said that his countrymen had only one demand: Instead of issuing verbal threats, a final solution must be reached.

Reacting to reports that intelligence agencies had given warnings about a threat before the attacks, the Sena chief said that if the attacks took place despite the warnings, agency heads should be shunted out.

Mr Thackeray also said that he was proud of 2016 Line of Control surgical strike. Each time, Pakistan enters out territory and carries out attacks.
