Shyamvar Rai’s cross adjourned over CDR

Mumbai: The cross-examination of Shyamvar Rai in the Sheena Bora murder case has been adjourned till October 23, as Indrani Mukerjea’s defence lawyer told the court that he could not continue further cross-examination without Rai’s Call Data Records (CDR). The advocate said that continuing cross-examination without the CDR would be useless.

The defence wants to raise questions on the credibility of Rai, who was an accused in 2012 Sheena murder case but later turned approver.

The court has asked nodal officers of the service providers to submit the CDRs by October 23.
