Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday renewed his attack on NCP chief Sharad Pawar asking him whether he agrees with the Congress manifesto on scraping of sedition law and called on to wipe out the Congress-NCP grand alliance terming them as ‘mahamilavat’ from Maharashtra.

Mr Modi while addressing a public meeting in Gondia for the second time in three days again attacked Mr Pawar saying as former defence minister, does he agree with the Congress promises of scraping sedition law against the perpetrators of anti-national activities.

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis also addressed the meeting.

In a rally at Wardha on Monday Mr Modi had targeted Mr Pawar and the NCP, remarking that a dynastic war was brewing within the party in which Mr Pawar was losing control over his party to his nephew, NCP leader Ajit Pawar. He also ridiculed the NCP leader for the mess in the agriculture sector when he was the Union minister for agriculture.

PM asserted that the Congress manifesto, released by Rahul Gandhi, was against the country as it will only help Pakistan, Maoists and the ‘desh ke tukde tukde karnewale gang’.

Mr Modi accused the Congress of destabilising the country and said in five year tenure, the government tried to wipe off misdeeds of previous Congress-led government right up to the treasury.
