Commuter to GRP: Increase security on stations

Mumbai: In the wake of the molestation of a 20-year-old girl at Turbhe railway station last week, a Harbour line commuter has submitted a letter to Vashi GRP seeking deployment of more police personnel at the station. More than 15 molestation cases have been registered on the Harbour line in last four months, according to the GRP sources.

Shital Shivare a commuter of harbour line said, “I was at the other side of the platform when the incident took place. I didn’t see what had happened but when I heard about the incident I started shivering.”
