Delhi University closes registration for admission on merit

The data given by the varsity in which 1,29,753 female have registered themselves for UG courses this year, 1,28,634 male has been registered.

New Delhi: The Delhi University have closed its registration for undergraduate, Postgraduate and M.Phil/ PhD courses on the basis of merit at the varsity this year. As many as 3.6 lakh students have registered themseveles via the admission portal for UG courses. The registration for female in University found to be higher as compared to male this year. Accordingly, the university will release the first cut-off list on Friday.

Out of the total number of registrations, 152478 candidates are from the unreserved category, 55457 other backward classes (OBC), 34262 scheduled castes (SC), 7100 scheduled tribes (ST) and 9091 from the economically weaker section (EWS).

The data given by the varsity in which 1,29,753 female have registered themselves for UG courses this year, 1,28,634 male has been registered. While only one registration from third gender has registered under EWS quota.
