Youth shot at in north-east Delhi, critical

During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that one Akeel of Kardampuri fired at him, who is still absconding.

New Delhi: A 20-year-old youth sustained a bullet injury in north-east Delhiā€™s Kardampuri area on Friday night.

The victim , who is still in a critical condition, is being treated at the Guru Tegh Bahadur Hispital. The police said the victim has been identified as Saajid (20), a resident of Maujpur.

According to the police, a telephone call was received by the police control room around 12:45 am regarding firing in the area.

During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that one Akeel of Kardampuri fired at him, who is still absconding.

The police further said that there was an old rivalry between the two and due to that the firing incident happened. The police are trying to arrest the absconding accused.
