New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) will release its first cut-off for various undergraduate (UG) courses on June 28 while the first admissions list for the postgraduate (PG) courses will be announced on July 7.

The admissions will be done on the basis of eligibility criteria of the applicants. The process of online document verification, approval of admission and fees payment can be completed between June 28 and July 1.

The first cut-off list will be released on June 28, second cut-off list will be out on July 4 and the third cut-off will be released on July 9.

The fourth and fifth cut-off lists will be out on July 15 and July 20, respectively. Further cut-off lists schedule may be declared depending on the number of vacant seats.

While the admission for postgraduate course will start from July 17, the processes of online document verification, approval of admission will be done on July 17-19.

For payment of fees, the applicant has to log on to the undergraduate admission portal. This may be done till 15:00 hrs of the next day of the approval of admission in the portal, the varsity said.

Till now, 3,53,987 students have registered and 2,46,170 have made payments, the varsity said. Out of the total number of registrations, 1,46,147 aspirants are from the unreserved category; 52,164 from other backward classes; 32,801 from scheduled castes; 6,755 from scheduled tribes and 8,303 from the economically weaker section (EWS).

Further, 1,44,875 students have registered for PG courses this year.

Applicants from SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories can update and upload their certificates till June 22, 2019 without making any payment. Applicants can update their academic section including marks till June 22, 2019 without making any payment.

This year the cut-offs are anticipated to be very high from previous years. In 2018, in the first list the highest cut-off went to 98.75 per cent for BA (programme) in Lady Shri Ram College, 98.50 per cent for BA (Hons.) Economics in Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), 98 per cent in BA (Hons.) English in Hindu College, 98.50 per cent for BA (Hons.) Journalism in Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC).
