New Delhi: With the arrest of a 26-year-old woman, who allegedly killed her parents with the help of her lover, the Delhi police on Monday claimed to have solved a double murder case.

The accused were identified as Davinder Kaur (26) and Prince Dixit (29). On Friday evening, police received information that a female dead body was found in the drain near Sayed Nangloi village. Police found a femaleĀ  body packed in a suitcase floating in the drain in Paschim Vihar. A case was registered and investigation was taken up.

The body was identified as Jageer Kaur (47), resident of Nilothi Extension. On further enquiry, it was found that her husband Gurmeet Singh was also missing. During this search, a police team found a male body in a highly decomposed state, packed in a suitcase on the opposite side of the drain from where the first body was found. Hence another case was registered at Paschim Vihar police station and investigation taken up.

During enquiry, the body was identified as that of Gurmeet Singh.
