Two held for online fraudulent activities

New Delhi: The Delhi police crime branch has busted a gang of active online fraud wi-th the arrest of two accused. The arrested accused were identified as Samir (21), and Tahir (35). The duo belongs to an infamous village in Mathura’s Devseras, which is also a hub of online fraud in Uttar Pradesh.

The DCP (New Delhi) Madhur Verma said, the-re was a gang which was active online and communicate through mobile and internet and target the person.

Later they take the credentials of his account and perform the online purchasing and provide the address for receive parcel of a remote area where they are untraceable. A complaint was received at Connaught Place with similar modus operandi.

The team gathered the information and located the probable area of such online cheater and studied the modus operandi and after this the team immediately swung into action and laid a trap at Mathura and nabbed both the accused persons.
