New Delhi: Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s famous saying — na khaunga, na khane dunga (neither will I take bribe, nor will I allow anyone to take bribe) — in true spirit, the Delhi BJP has decided to form a transparency committee in all the three municipal corporations, which will be responsible for checking any irregularities in financial administration.

The special committee, first of its kind, will be empowered to ensure a corruption free administration in the BJP ruled civic bodies.

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari told this newspaper that the party is committed to give a transparent and corruption free civic administration in the national capital for which Delhiites have given massive mandate in the recent polls.

“The transparency committee will work to ensure PM Modi’s promise of a corruption-free administration in the three civic bodies. The committee will keep a check on all the financial transactions and tendering processes from the beginning till completion of the work. They will also ensure 100 per cent transparency,” added Mr Tiwari.
