Gurgaon: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old teenager who was waiting at a bus stand in Gurgaon’s Sohna Road was allegedly gangraped by an auto rickshaw driver and four others on Tuesday.

She was waiting for a bus to visit her hometown Aligarh, when the auto-driver told her that he will take her to the place where she would get the bus easily.

She believed him and got on to the vehicle and within a few minutes, the driver sped off to a deserted locality where four more men hopped onto the auto rickshaw, the girl told the police.

The victim told the police that when she fell unconscious, the driver poured some water into her mouth. They also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the gangrape, said the police.

The woman also told the police the name of one of the men they were calling out during the assault.

She lost consciousness again and after when she opened her eyes, the men had left the spot. The woman reached home and told her family members about the sexual assault and they took her to the police the next day.

After a medical examination, the police have started an investigation but no one has been arrested yet. “We filed a complaint and are looking for the suspects on the basis of registration number of auto provided by the survivor,” said police official.
