Gang involved in drugging, looting truck drivers busted

New Delhi: The Delhi police has busted a gang and arrested two persons who were involved in drugging and looting truck drivers. The police has recovered 2 trucks and goods worth Rs 1.5 crore from the possession of the accused.

Identified as Kasim Khan (28) and Madan Pal (28), the accused were part of the Zehar Khurani criminal gang.

According to police, it got a tip-off on Tuesday that Kasim, who is the leader of the gang, had stolen goods in two trucks after drugging five truck drivers and had kept one truck safe in a Shastri Park godown for disposal.

A trap was laid and Kasim was arrested . On further interrogation, the other accused, Madan Pal, who is the actual owner of both the trucks, was apprehended by the police.

Both Madan Pal and Kasim Khan with their associates hatched a conspiracy of loot of two trucks loaded with goods items worth Rs. 1.5 crore.
