Online porn is a rising industry that has reached an audience consisting of millions all over the world due to more accessibility. At the same time it's highly debated how porn impacts sex lives of people. Since men as well as women enjoy watching porn, it's impact on relationships is a cause for concern.

Findings of a study showed that while men who watched porn were found to be less satisfied in intimate relationships due to lower sense of self worth and unrealistic expectations, women who watched porn were not really unhappy about their sex life.

The study also stated that men may be watching porn either because they are already unhappy in their relationship or are disappointed with sex due to unrealistic expectations set by porn.

Couples who were honest about their porn watching habits to each other and even watched porn together were found to be more happy in a relationship and had better sex.
