Technology has changed a lot of things for people in their day to day life and has also left an impact on relationships. Among several things young couples to do spice up their life, exchanging intimate messages has gained popularity among many of them.

But while sexting does improve a couple’s sex life by acting as a build up to action between the sheets, research warns that it can wreck the relationship in the long run. People did report more satisfaction after exchanging erotic messages and pictures, but they were also more likely to argue, watch porn as well as flirt with other people online.

People indulging in sexting may focus on the sex in their relationship while ignoring the rest including communication and spending time together. They also start to have doubts about their partners.
