Adelaide: With age life can get lonely at times and several heartbreaking stories of people being separated from the significant other at an old age have been always gained a lot of attention on social media and have even led to heart warming reunions of elderly couples. But it’s even lonelier for people who have been widowed.

A similar tale of an elderly man from Australia has gone viral as thousands were left heartbroken after reading an online classified ad which read,

"I'm a widowed pensioner who is looking for a fishing mate. My previous fishing mate is now deceased. I am a land based fisherman. I have all the gear for all types of fish that is required for land based fishing."

The man named Ray Johnstone wrote that he was looking for someone in a position like his and that he is willing to pay for fuel and bait. With the kind of response his post witnessed, Ray might be hosting a lot of fishing mates in South Australia.
