A 7-year-old boy had a lucky escape when a passer-by quickly rescued him from oncoming cars.

The little boy was thrown out of a minivan in China's Jiangsu province.

The minivan collided with a car on the busy road in Suzhou city, throwing the little boy out.

However, a quick thinking driver who was passing by in his car saved the little boy's life.

The driver stopped and rushed the little boy to the hospital.

CCTV footage shows a car stopping to help the injured boy by jumping several red lights in order to rush the boy to the hospital.
