Dating apps have made it a lot easier for people to meet someone interesting and possibly find the right match for themselves. But at the same time there are a lot of factors which may affect a person’s chances of getting attention on dating apps and many have tried to understand how it works.

A new study suggests that apart from an individual’s overall personality and looks, height matters a lot when it comes to online dating. But while it may seem that tall people get right swipes easily, results of the study paint a different picture.

The survey found that the most right swiped height for men between ages 18 to 30 is 5 ft 8, which is an inch shorter than the average height in UK. In case of women, those standing at 5 feet 5 get the most right swipes.
