People on the run generally tend to do everything that helps them disappear. But in times of social media, some have been showing how they enjoy all the attention.

Halifax police decided to get help on Facebook while trying to track down 21-year-old Leon Smith. They posted a plea on the platform asking for any information on the man.

But while police expected someone to inform about his whereabouts, Leon commented on the same post within an hour. The man on the run wrote that he wasn’t missing but was actually wanted.

He added that while police wrote they were concerned about him, they really just wanted to arrest him. Leon also wrote that the authorities should do their job.
