A woman in the US woman was left horrified after she discovered a dead rat sewn into a new dress that she had bought from a well-known retailer.

Cailey Fiesel, from Greenwich in the United States, found a decaying rodent sewn in to her outfit that she had purchased from Zara – a popular Spanish clothing and accessories retailer. She had reportedly noticed a pungent odour when she put on the dress but continued to go about her work. She noticed something like a loose string rubbing against her leg and upon looking closely realised that it was a dead rat’s foot.

Zara is now slapped with a lawsuit for gross negligence and said that they will “investigate the matter further,” reports New York Daily News.
