Selfie with cobra proves fatal as man gets stung on head

The trend of clicking selfies has gained popularity with the increasing accessibility to smartphones in age of social media. At the same time selfies have caused several deaths as incidents of young people drowning, getting run over by trains or electrocuted while trying to click daring pictures have surfaced.

A man called Baburam Jakhar also thought it was a great idea to pose for a picture with a cobra that a snake charmer wrapped around his neck. But things go horribly wrong as a video shows the reptile biting him on the head while Baburam realises it later.

It got worse because when Baburam checked his head and asked if he was stung, the snake charmer ignored him. He was taken to a temple by the snake charmer after losing consciousness and when it got worse, he was rushed to a hospital where he declared dead.
