Statutory warning: People who love chocolates, this video is not meant for you.
A stomach-churning video has emerged online which shows a woman unwrapping Ferrero Rocher chocolates only to find squirming maggots inside them. And this happened after she had finished eating half of the chocolates in the box,
The woman, Rachel Vile, from Bourbonnais, Illinois claims that she spotted the crawling creatures after she and her roommate tucked into the treats.
Footage shows Ms Vile peeling back the gold foil from several of the not-so-tasty morsels to reveal larvae wriggling on 'every single one'.
The video, which has since crossed 40 million viewers have expressed their disgust at the discovery.
One user Jordan Carver after watching the video said that she would like to stick to chocolate fingers while another Carol Thomas said, “That's awful. This is so disgusting.”
Vile, who according to her social media profile is a US Navy technician, wrote “Never eating these again! This is what my roommate and I found. Maggots in every single one. I already ate half.'
The luxury chocolate makers are investigating Ms Vile's complaint, and told customers to make sure they are storing their chocolates with care.
