A veteran maritime industry stalwart Capt. Shiv Halbe was recently honored with the ‘Kashti Ratna’ award for his immense contribution to the Indian shipping industry. This award was presented to Capt Shiv Halbe at a function held in New Delhi by Union Minister of Shipping of India, Mr Mansukh Mandavia. Mumbai-based Capt Shiv Halbe currently serves as CEO of India’s apex and oldest maritime association of shipping companies, ‘The Maritime Association of Shipowners Shipmanagers and Agents’.
