Approaching death due to disorders that leave you with a few months to live sounds nothing short of a terrifying experience, and it can be extremely difficult for terminally ill people to cope with these trying times in life. This is why it takes courage to face death and to laugh at it is something that requires extraordinary mettle.

A group of terminally ill people decided to talk about their lives with people as they took to the stage to perform stand up comedy which was all about laughing about their death. These brave individuals joked about the inevitable end that they saw coming, and spread smiles across faces of the audience.

The event was made possible thanks to efforts of End of Life Care India in collaboration with professional comedians. The patients shared moments of happiness with the crowd present as they were unfazed by the gloominess of what was to come.
