Asthma is a condition that can make life a daily struggle, but it also puts people at a higher risk of other disorders. Research has revealed that toddlers who suffer from the asthma are more likely to be obese since it stops them from exercising.

Symptoms of the lung disorder like wheezing and breathlessness make physical exercise difficult for children. This raises their chances of becoming dangerously overweight in future by 66 per cent.
