Procedures like IVF have enabled people to experience the joy of parenthood despite limitations and health conditions. But while children born through IVF are healthy, do they face risks in future?

Now scientists have warned that children born by IVF may be at a higher risk of asthma. They believe this may be caused by the fertility drugs women are required to take during the treatment.

In addition to this the manner of handling and manipulating embryos before implanting them in the womb can also be a factor. Experts have meanwhile insisted that children born like this don’t have poor health later in life; they said such risks may be caused by a mother’s underlying infertility rather than IVF.
