Aaron Paul may star in TV show on Jack Daniel

The Life and Times of Jack Daniel, will narrate the tale of Jack Daniel, who learnt distilling as a boy after the Civil War.

Jack Daniel’s is one of the most well-known whiskey brands. Now, the story about the distiller behind the whiskey empire is getting a TV show. Aaron Paul, of Breaking Bad fame, is making sure the story of the distiller isn’t forgotten any time soon. The actor is set to play the owner, in an upcoming TV show.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series, based on Peter Krass’ biography Blood and Whiskey: The Life and Times of Jack Daniel, will narrate the tale of Jack Daniel, who learnt distilling as a boy after the Civil War. Jack later went on to build the world’s biggest whiskey empire out of the ashes of the Civil War. While the show’s team has not announced any casting news as yet, Aaron is reportedly considering the lead role in the show.
