Mango shake

Opting for vegan food is a way of life. It is something that doesn't happen in two shakes of a cat's tale but something that takes a while. Veganism has proven to be very beneficial and so is the belief of Nikkhil Joshi who is the head chef at Nut & Bowls café is the brain behind the vegan café:

Inspiration to become a chef
It came naturally to me and I believe I am blessed with it. I spend most of my time in the kitchen experimenting and making recipes to perfection and it brings me the most amount of happiness.

Challenges you faced
Challenges that I faced were procuring  ingredients that are rarely available in India. So, now I am importing some of the stuff because my intention is to serve the best.

The misconception you feel people have about veganism
The most common is that vegan food is boring and tasteless and that the vegan menu is all about different forms of salads

FOOD ROUTINE SUGGESTION
Conversion from vegetarian or non-vegetarian to vegan will not happen overnight. The body needs some time for the change. One can start by eating more fruits and vegetables that are rich in fibre that will make him/her feel full for longer.

Smashed Avocado Toast

Ingredients
Avocado
Onions
Tomatoes
Home made Bread
Lemon juice
Salt

Method
Peel the Avocado and separate the pulp.
Smash the avocado pulp in a bowl.
Add onions and tomatoes. Add salt, chilly and lemon juice as per your taste. Mix all the ingredients together.
Apply the mixture on a piece of bread.
Garnish and serve.

Mango shake

Ingredients
Alphonso Mango
Almond Mylk
Any Natural Sweetner

Method
Peel and dice the mangoes in small cubes
Add the diced mangoes in the blender
Pour over Almond mylk in the blender.
Add the natural sweetener.
Blend all ingredients together.
Pour the yummy licious mango
shake into the glass and serve it with shreds of almonds.
