Now there's a meat-free option for vegans and vegetarians who are curious about the taste of KFC. The world's first all-vegan ‘fried chicken’ shop will be opening in London in January 2017.

 

 

Temple of Seitan, an exclusively vegan brand, offers seitan which is a meat substitute that is made from wheat gluten. Its standalone ‘chicken’ shop in Hackney will be serving seitan in sandwiches, tubs, and mac ‘n’ cheese burgers.

 

 

Let’s hope that this vegan ‘fried chicken’ turns out to be as good as if not better than the real stuff.
