Jim Beam whiskey

Ever wish that your next shot of whiskey would appear into your glass magically? Well, that may still be a few years away, but Jim Beam has designed a device that will pour a shot of whiskey on command.

The ‘smart’ decanter is quite like a voice-enabled house assistant many have around their homes now. Except that it won’t tell you about the weather or order you a cab, but get you whiskey instead.

According to a video released by the company, Jim will also have voice recordings of Fred Now, a master distiller at Jim Beam. All you need to tell it is, “Hey Jim, pour me a drink.”

While this may seem like an elaborate prank, Jim will be sold on the company’s website for $34.90. It works on a 3G system that will give you six months of service.
