Lakme Fashion Week ended with its characteristic grandeur, with Manish Malhotra bringing out an all new range of clothing. The show was a collaboration between Manish and the NEXA cars, which were the inspiration behind many of Manish’s designs. A glass ramp and hundreds of glass strips hung from the ceiling to set the mood as Manish Malhotra unveiled his Tales of Indulgence to the audience and gave them the opportunity to experience his intense, extravagant, display as he launched his bespoke men’s wear and women’s seductive cocktail and festive bonanza.

The first model walked out to the sound of nothing but echoing footsetps. Soon, the music swelled and the show was on the road. Sleek lines, daring cuts and dazzling sequins characterised Manish’s collection.

For such a high-octane show, the showstopper choice was indeed heart stopping and Aditya Roy Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez did not disappoint in their stupendous outfits. “I want to thank Arjun and Jacqueline for being two wonderful, young energetic actors, who shifted their schedules to make time for my show,” said Manish, who joked that the showstopping duo of his shows always end up getting cast together. We wonder if an Aditya-Jackie starrer is around the corner.
