The only problem with looking awesome during vacations is that you have to carry loads of clothes and shoes. We ask designers and stylists what are the basic things that one can pack during holidays and still look fabulous?

Manisha, a fashion curator says that, “This season look smoking hot on summer vacations and your beach parties. Crop tops and summer go hand-in- hand, pair them with a mini skirt, shorts, ripped skinny jeans or flared pants and add a couple of chains with pendants or stacked bracelets, fringe bags and a pair of flat sandals that are light to pack and yet chic in appeal. You could also throw in some sexy swimwear with colourful cover-up, breezy dresses and hats.”

But, there are other tricks that can help us travel light but also look on point on our vacations!

Kritica Khurana, a fashion blogger says, “The trick is to pick pieces which can go with a lot of stuff. You can always carry a neutral crop top which can go with a skirts, shorts etc. One pair of jeans, wrap skirts or even breezy chiffon maxi dresses works really well. Carry a lightweight jacket which you can easily throw on if it’s chilly at night. One thing that has literally changed my packing game is ultralight packers which helps you section and carry only necessary stuff.”

We ask a fashion expert to give us some tips on what can be worn, and looks good paired with anything. Krina Panjwani, a fashion head at the Indian Ink says, “Stressing over perfect holiday outfits and accessories for a fashionable look, without bothering about excess luggage is everyone’s story. While the weather and topography plays a significant role in such selections, but it isn’t impossible.”

She further gives us some tips and tricks for the lovely ladies to ease their holiday packing.

1 Cotton and linen narrow pants go with every tee, tunic and kurti, and are comfortable in varying temperatures, pack few in the hues of beige, blue and grey
2  For crowded destinations, bundle up few casual kurtis in hippy patterns and colours with complementing palazzo pants and stoles, for a relaxed look. Accessorise them with small earrings and a funky bracelet to complete the look
3  For long flights and transportation journeys, carry coloured print pants to be comfortable while looking pretty.
