You gotta love a good pair of denim trousers! It has sort of become an unofficial rule of fashion to always have a pair of denims in your wardrobe. But taking it up a notch, this season, fashionistas are sporting denim paired with denim. It is possible to look chic in denims with out trying to hard.

Denim is the ultimate fabric for all seasons. Designer Prachita Devi adds, “Denim is a fabric that can be used in any season. Whats’s best is that now-a-days, it can be used for a formal looks as well and also it works well with both the younger as well as older generation.” While the traditional denim is acceptable, the upgraded look is loved. Designer Shriya Joshi says, “This year, there are  some really quirky and stylish look like embroidered denim, low waist classic straight leg, hem details (a lot of variety will be seen in the hem), longer straight denims (it’s vintage inspired and is gonna be longer than our normal ankle length denims), pin tucks on denims etc.”

Minimal styling is all you need to get to denim game on. Designer Sparsha KP suggests, “A classic denim jacket with a white tee and a pair of jeans is all you need. You can jazz it up with a pair or sneakers or a casual bag  while keeping the accessories to the minimal.” While earlier the denim fabric was only reserved for a casual look and was a big no-no for a formal setting, things have changed this season. On who you can nail the trend for a formal look, “A light coloured denim fabric skirt can be paired with a dark toned denim boot cut jeans which is in vogue currently. Finish of this look with formal shoes, a sleeked high ponytail with ear studs and watch,” Prachita adds saying that denims can be worn for parties as well if you opt for denims that are embellished with embroidery or stone work.

Keep the accessories to a minimal what our designers suggest. Shriya adds, “A great pair of sunglasses, a trendy leather bag, and black ankle boots (or basic white sneakers, if your vibe is more sporty), nude shades pump heels, are the perfect accessories for keeping this look in the now.” when you are sporting the denim on denim trend, balance is very important. “While choosing denim, one must pick a fit that suits their body type. When your going from head to toe in denim, you must pay attention to balancing the outfit properly.”
