The artists on display are Santanu Sarkar, who feels at peace only when he portrays his afflictions on his canvas.

In order to celebrate the colours of the earth, an exhibition is being organised at the India Habitat Centre titled Art Convergence which is a group exhibition.

Art is described as the science of human expression. Every colour on the colour palate depicts a certain feeling and many times even creates those feelings within a
human being.

In order to celebrate the colours of the earth, an exhibition is being organised at the India Habitat Centre titled Art Convergence which is a group exhibition.

The theme of the exhibition revolves around prakriti. Along with nature it also means the  swabhav i.e the behaviour. It means the human being in its entirely our efforts have been consistently to bring out and depict different sentiments and moods, which has develops based on the surroundings of man, in relation to nature.

The artists on display are Santanu Sarkar, who feels at peace only when he portrays his afflictions on his canvas. He adds, “ Since last 40 years, I have been observing the changes in the society and the civilization.”

Apart from him, the other artists are Anoop Kumar Srivatava Pratibha Sarkar, Gurudeep Singh, Rajender Kumar, Swapan Pal, Tapati Singha and many more.

The exhibition is ongoing till July 4 at the India Habitat Centre.
