A window into the Mumbai

Arresting Developments is a collection of images of the windows of Mumbai by photographer Parhad Goghavala. The images express his love for this metropolis, and offer a voyeuristic view into the everyday lives of the people here. Using the facades of derelict buildings and their windows as his canvas, Goghavala has mainly shot in the old neighbourhoods of Byculla down to Crawford Market towards South Mumbai. The images in Arresting Developments were all shot by Goghavala over a period of two years, in 2008-09, and offer a chance to experience the raw, unfiltered beauty of Mumbai.
