Usher in equality

Continuing customs like triple talaq and polygamy in the name of personal laws is an absolutely inhuman act in this era of democracy and equality. The personal laws of all religions must be compliant with the Constitution, democratic norms and natural justice. The time is ripe to abolish evil customs as done in the case of sati and untouchability.
