Slow start

After the ouster of the archery team from the finals at Rio, Abhinav Bindra ended up fourth in the 10m air rifle contest. While Bindra fought bravely, he could not match the score of rival Serhiy Kullish of Ukraine and shot 10.0 to his 10.5. Another heartbreak was the hockey team’s loss to Germany. While Germany drew first blood, India levelled the score with a penalty shot. But a late goal conceded by India with just 3.1 seconds left to end of play dashed our hopes. All in all, the best player/team won.
