Price of pain

With the price of tomatoes rocketing up in the South and a hike in petrol and diesel prices, high inflation looks set to make a comeback. This reminds one of the allegations that the GDP figures posted by the NDA government are fudged. While that is beyond the comprehension of the common man, a spike in prices of essentials like tomatoes does prompt a rethink on the consumer’s part.
