Past mistakes

Air Chief Marshal Arup Saha has condemned India’s military approach after Partition and has termed the same as the reason for PoK to be tough and problematic even today. The statement of Marshal Saha is to be welcomed as it perceives the historic events clearly and notes the negatives of approaching the UN even after the Instrument of Accession was signed by Maharaja Hari Singh. Had we been proactive and strong, we wouldn’t have had the troubles we are seeing in Kashmir today.
