No to casteism
While we take pride in calling our country diverse and tolerant, news of an “untouchable” school in Perambra, Kerala, is shameful.

While we take pride in calling our country diverse and tolerant, news of an “untouchable” school in Perambra, Kerala, is shameful. The fact that the school has only dalit students and no non-dalit child gets enrolled is an example of the worst form of untouchability being practised in India. Nelson Mandela had said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world.” Hence schools are the suppliers of such necessary weapons which are meant to fill the gap, not to make one. I hope the new Kerala government takes the necessary steps.
