Modi’s shows tact

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Balochistan strategy is a befitting reply to Pakistan’s recurring provocations. Pakistan is in the habit of needling mindlessly. It has been interfering in Kashmir with its envoys and foreign minister often going on the offensive and meeting the separatists in J&K. If Pakistan thinks that Kashmir is not India’s internal matter, then India also has the right to at least talk about Balochistan where Pakistan has been facing a long separatist struggle. Mr Modi’s warning is timely.
